Directions and Map to Post 449 Cabins

Oneida County Highway D is the final leg of your journey to our three Elm Brook cabins and Camp American Legion. Enjoy the scenery but watch out for deer!

Thank you for considering a vacation at one of our well-appointed cabins.  When packing for your vacation, don't forget to bring along your 2019 American Legion membership card.  You'll need to show it if requested by the Camp American Legion Director or Camp staff.  Also, don't forget to pack a supply of sheets (twin beds), pillowcases and towels.  It's also a smart idea to bring a few flashlights.

In the suggested routes described below, we have included directions to our Elmbrook Cabins and also to Camp American Legion.  If your vehicle has GPS, here are the addresses to our three cabins and the Camp office:

Directions to Camp American Legion

No key in lockbox? Lost key? No ice? It's time to take a little trip over to Camp American Legion!

They can solve your key problem. They also have a good supply of ice for your drinks (Small donation welcome). Besides all that, Camp American Legion is well worth visiting. It's an impressive northwoods venue that provides comfort and rehabilitation for our fellow veterans. This scenic place has been the pride and joy of Wisconsin Legionnaires for many years. (Nothing like it anywhere else!) Here's how you get there from our cabins:

Turn left on Thrush Road and go about 0.2 mile. Turn left onto Bird Lake Road and proceed about 0.3 mile until you get to County Highway D. Turn left and go about 0.3 mile until you get to the Camp. There's excellent signage on the right side of Highway D, prior to the Camp's main entrance. There is also ample parking near the Camp's main lodge where the office is located.

Markers on left give locations of Post 449 cabins.  Marker on right gives location of Camp American Legion office.
